Her Story

Two decades of expertise. One patient at a time.

Hi, I’m Marie-Antoinette! I’m deeply passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their bodies, restore function, and feel confident in their everyday lives. My journey in physiotherapy began over 20 years ago after graduating from the University of Ottawa — and since then, I have dedicated my career to continuous learning, completing over 30 post-graduate courses in pelvic health and orthopaedic physiotherapy.

While my foundation began in orthopaedic physiotherapy, my path naturally evolved into pelvic health, where I discovered the profound impact this work can have on a person’s quality of life. Since 2009, I have worked closely with urogynecologists and urologists — developing extensive, nuanced experience in treating a wide range of pelvic floor conditions that many practitioners simply do not encounter.

I am also the owner of BodyWork Physiotherapy and Myofascial Release Clinic in Orleans, and I am honoured to be part of the Femade Multidisciplinary Women’s Health team — working collaboratively within a circle of care to provide comprehensive, integrated support.

My practice is a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space for all individuals. Outside of the clinic, I am a proud mother of three. I enjoy travelling, staying active, and embracing life fully — something I encourage all my patients to return to, in their own way and at their own pace.
