Areas of practice
One therapist.Many ways to help.
Therapeutic, lymphatic drainage, prenatal, TMJ and post-op care — every session starts with a personalised assessment and trauma-informed approach.
Chronic pain
Long-standing tension, fibromyalgia, repetitive strain and pain patterns that need consistent, gentle attention.
Pregnancy & postpartum
Hip, low back and sciatic pain, swelling, cramping, fatigue — plus the quiet space new mothers rarely get.
Headaches & TMJ
Jaw clenching, grinding, tension headaches and the neck and shoulder load that comes with them.
Stress & burnout
Slow the nervous system, soften the breath, give the body permission to rest and reset.
Upper & lower back
Posture-related tension, desk-body, lifting strain — released layer by layer.
Hip & pelvic tension
For tight hips, pelvic floor strain and the deep holding patterns we carry without noticing.
Sleep & anxiety
Co-regulation through touch — slower breath, slower thoughts, deeper sleep.
Self-care & maintenance
A regular rhythm of care, not a one-off rescue. Because your body deserves the appointment too.
Understanding the service
What is Registered Massage Therapy?
Massage therapy is a manual practice that works with muscle, fascia, and the lymphatic system to release pain, reduce inflammation, and restore the body’s ability to regulate itself. It can be a steady part of your self-care, or focused clinical work for a specific concern — chronic pain, surgical recovery, pregnancy, or jaw dysfunction.
Every session begins with a real conversation. We ask, we listen, we adjust. That means working at your pressure, your pace, and with your consent — including the option to change anything at any time.

What kind of massage is right for me?
If you’re not sure, start with the free 15-minute virtual discovery session — that’s exactly what it’s for. Abby will ask about your body, your goals and what’s going on, then recommend the right session type and length before you commit to a full appointment.
What is lymphatic drainage and do I need it?
Lymphatic drainage uses light, rhythmic movements to stimulate the movement of lymph fluid through the body. It’s effective for bloating, fluid retention, hormonal congestion, post-surgical swelling and general immune support. If you’ve had surgery — especially a C-section, endometriosis surgery, or cosmetic procedure — post-op lymphatic drainage is one of the most evidence-supported ways to support recovery.
Is the massage trauma-informed?
Yes — always. Trauma-informed care means we ask before we touch, explain what we’re doing, check in throughout, and adjust any time you ask. You are in control from start to finish. You can adjust draping, keep clothing on, or end the session at any point. No explanation needed.
Can I get a prenatal massage in any trimester?
Prenatal massage is safe from the second trimester onward when performed by a trained RMT. Abby uses bolster positioning and adapted pressure for comfort and safety. If you have a high-risk pregnancy, check with your OB or midwife first.
Do you take insurance?
Most extended health benefit plans cover Registered Massage Therapy in Ontario. We provide itemised receipts for direct submission or reimbursement. No physician referral is required for most plans — check your specific coverage amounts before booking.
What if I've never had a massage before?
Then you’re in the right place. Your first session moves slowly and checks in often. Nothing is assumed, nothing is rushed. Many people find the intake conversation is what makes it possible to actually relax — because you’ve already said what you need.
